bf6 high cpu usage

so my cpu has high cpu usage in bf6 i saw more then one video on making a user cfg file with this in it

it worked in bf2042 but is not in bf6 but in videos it is working for some.

How high CPU usage are we talking about?

Why are you worried about high CPU usage?

BF6 is very CPU demanding and is able to effectively scale to 16 threads. So yes, you'll see high CPU usage.

 

Why is this a problem? Don't you want your CPU to be as effectively utilized by the game as possible so that you can get the best performance possible?

Games are designed to run as fast as possible, so they will use as much available resources as possible. 

 

If that's not what you want, you'll need to use something like a frame rate limit. 

 

These config file hacks are pretty much always snake oil

Okay, if temps are good, what is bad? Are you getting frame drops? In theory the perfect rig would be using 95% GPU, 95% CPU, both at 85C with low noise and no throttling while providing consistent framerate

CP 2077 is another one. I see all 12c/24t utilized on my 5900x

Yep. I've got a 5900X so when a game can actually use it effectively, it's way better. My CPU limited performance can range between slightly better than the 5600X to noticeably faster than the 5800X, and it almost entirely depends on whether or not it can utilize the extra resources of the CPU.

All looks normal for BF6, or really any BF game on that chip.

Trying to fix a "problem" that isn't a problem and likely just making things worse.

Cap your fps with reflex in rtss at 150 if u want lower usage

Also should the thread count be 7 becuase core 1 is called core 0 ?
