Recently I bought an PNY XLR8 RTX 4080 from the used market and comparing it to my friend's RTX 4080, mine is severely performing worse, at least in benchmarks. Here on 3Dmark Timespy I got a score of 30560 for the GPU while my friend with his RTX 4080 is always getting around 32K. So my question is why is my RTX 4080 Underperforming? How are people with RTX 4080 getting 32K and 33K on 3Dmark Timespy? I'm new to computers so if there is anything I can do to improve my performance let me know. Thanks in advanced.

Small update, the highest score I got with my 4080 on 3dmark timespy is 31K which is still lower than some other 4080's that are getting 32-33K

severely performing worse

31 / 32 * 100  = 96.785 %
I wouldn't call that "severely performing worse"

Also, with that GPU & CPU you are pretty much at the top of charts for graphics score:

Nothing wrong here, enjoy your GPU.

You are about 2000 points above average. I would not call that underperforming.

you might be looking at the top scores with a 14900ks with better cooling/ram tuning, higher power limit on both cpu/gpu etc, 5500mhz average clock speed with ddr6200 is low on a 14900ks.

it would be easier if you just compare all specs to ur friend's pc 1:1.
