Why was there so much anime on the graphics cards at the time?

i would go for the 1gb version. i have 2 9800gtx+ in sli and the vram gets maxed out quick at 1080p. its ok for 1024x768 though

I wish I could go back in time and tell someone who dropped the full retail for this brand new that their uber leet card will one day be a 50 dollar cup coaster.

 

Now we wait till the GTX 780 Ti meets this same fate. :3
