Why the hell is the rt ax88u so hard to mount on walls? i am tired of it, so i am going to use the u6 lite, and maybe a u6 in wall

I am like trying different hard drives, and one time, the router almost fell, but then it needed to be in rescue mode. I am not using that as aimesh node ever again

the hooks for wallmounting are under the decidedly wallmount hook shaped rubber feet.

 

past that it's a matter of finding the right size screw and drilling two of them the right distance apart in the wall.

is this even english? we started with wall mounting, now we're at hard drives, somehow ending up with rescue mode whatever that is, and now we're talking about mesh wifi.. which this device is decidedly not suitable for?

Also can be done by pulling 2 of the feet off and measuring the distance between the screw slots.

The back of the router is kinda stupid. Do you prefer this kinda mounting, or do u prefer an AP

I guess you should rename yourself to "not an engineer48" if you can't mount a router on a wall... And most access points mount the same way.

No, most AP i saw mounts in the ceiling, like aruba and unifi, only 10 percent of the APs i saw are on walls

i can mount the router on the wall, but like everytime when i need a new antenna or NAS, it kept falling, like crazy

Yea, but the method of mounting is the same. Two screws. It's just the orientation that differs. Any AP the mounts on the ceiling can also be mounted on a wall.

Are you trying to attach an external storage drive to the USB port on the router without supporting both weights of router and drive?
