Hay Guys, I was just wondering if I can Overclock my 4770 on my gigabyte Z87X-D3H because if I can I am going to buy a H80I and Overclock the hell out of it.

No. Only (K) processors can be overclocked (the easy way). The intel i7 4770k is overclockable.

Yes, but no. You can overclock a little, but just get a 4790K when it comes out.

Dat font tho.

Non-Ks can be overclocked A LITTLE via BCLK but if you want balls-to-the-walls overclocking pony up $20 and go for a 4770k.

Non-K: Locked multiplier

K: Unlocked multiplier

I would wait for Haswell Refresh and get a 4790k, I hear that the Refresh processors can overclock better than the Haswell processors.

You can overclock by increasing the base clock, but you can't change the multiplier.

Yeah it's not overclockable.

I did glance at something known as the intel extreme tuning utility (XTU) or something like that though, might be something you're looking for but probably and most likely you won't be able to do anything.
