Is this worth posting in the Over-clocking database?

So, the first of my 290X lightning's arrived a few days ago, and while waiting for the second and the waterblocks, I thought I'd see what I could get on air. Here are all the overclocked system stats:

i7 3770K @ 4.8GHz

16GB Dominator Platinum C10 @ 2200MHz

MSI R9 290X Lightning - 1250MHz core, 1600MHz memory. (On air)

Here's the 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme result: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/2226291

Performance Fire Strike? Do you mean the regular Fire Strike benchmark? Not the extreme that I did?

Okay, will do. I'll see if I can get 4.9 GHz to run through Fire Strike Extreme first - even though it's stable in AIDA64, apparently it doesn't like Fire Strike very much.

You'll get it easily if you have 1 card hitting a little over 6K. I hope to get in there soon :D A little over 10300 is the minimum to get in.

Care to send me some? ;)

I'd wait for the blocks to arrive before you submit :)

Is this what you were looking for? http://www.3dmark.com/fs/2228632 I managed to get it to pass with a 1250MHz Core clock and 1650MHz memory clock. Insane.

WOW that's insane.

I really want to get it past 12K to get on the wall of fame, but my CPU just crashes past 4.8 which is weird because it passes AIDA64 at 5GHz.. Maybe it's a problem with my motherboard or something. I'll have to see if I can tweak my GPU overclock a little.

Yeah, 3D Mark sometimes crashes with completely stable OCs. My drivers stay fine, but 3D mark gets some kind of error. It happens a lot. How much does OCing your CPU help you?

Considering 3dmark considers my CPU the limiting factor in my score, I'd say a hell of a lot. I won an award called 'Brawn' that said my GPU is awesome but that my CPU 'doesn't want to play'.

I overclocked my memory too, from 1866MHz CL9 to 2200MHz CL10

Yeah lol! It's the first time my CPU has been considered inadequate for the job... I thought it was odd, but when I looked at the hall of fame results that start at about 12000, most of them are Ivy-E or Sandy-E 6 core i7 extreme editions.

Yeah, just a bit more tweaking needed. Another thing is that pretty much every result in the hall of fame is from either water cooling or LN2.
