rttiongson

hi,

I need thoughts about this? err, computer is used for gaming like Watch Dogs, Battlefield, C.O.D, etc. Budget wouldn't be a problem. I just want to know what are the pros and cons of each?

Personally I would get the 770. Then you can get another one later on and have a better experience.

The mars is more powerful, but at the same time already SLI and is not able to be upgraded by SLIing. The 770 can be, since you'll be working with a single card now, and in the future can add a second.

Basically, the question is if you want your graphical power now, which will decrease as time goes on, or have less power now and the potential for more in the future.

If the 760 is at an extremely good price, that's also something to consider.

The 760 Mars has 2 GTX 760 GPU's on one PCB. While it will provide much better performance than a 770, it does cost a great deal more. But, because it has 2 GPUs you'll be at the mercy of driver support to get proper scaling. In a nutshell, if you can  can afford the Mars 760, spend a few bucks more and get a 780 ti. It'll provide better, smoother, and more reliable preformance.

GTX 760 mars is about as strong as the GTX 780. If they are the same price I'd go GTX 760 mars.

if you are willing to pay a 760 mars, just buy a 780 and later upgrade with sli, and you got better performance
