Hi, I am looking for some platformer games / puzzle games. I enjoyed:

Trine

Trine 2 Complete Story

Rayman Origins

Rayman Legend

CaveStory+

Super Meat Boy

Alice: Madness Returns

Portal

Portal 2

I already have in my wish list:

Limbo

FEZ

Dust: An Elysian Tail

Antichamber

Hack & Slash

Transistor

Child of Light

Are those worth it? Or should I skimm on some and try some other? If you have something to add to my wish list I will appreciate it a lot. I am going to put 40€ into Divinity: Original Sin this month so around 50 € will be left for me on Steam Summer Sale and I would like to pick some platformer/puzzle games along with Metro Last Light and Stalker games.

Looks good. I will definitely buy it.

You may enjoy The Binding Of Isaac.

Looks ok. I may get it if I get some money left.

Oh I forgot about this one. Added to wish list, thanks. I was looking at it some time ago and it slipped out of my mind in mean time :)

Antichamber is incredibly fun, but quite short. Definitely play it. It's so good. But probably don't pay full price for it.

Yes, I am planing on getting only those that will be on sale. Last game I am willing to pay full price for is Divinity: Original Sin.

Another recommendation for Antichamber.

I would also recommend Thomas Was Alone just for the story.

Everyone should play it, I love that game. Probably one of my fave indie games.

The way the dev manages to make a story and a great one at that around basically rectangles is amazing.

Its got a better story than most AAA titles and actual people.

Take a list of all games that have recently come out then cross off the AAA titles. Tada!

I mean, I see you are mainly thinking in inde games here, but traditionally I would say that Prince of Persia Sands of time and so on are one of the best (if not the best) 3D AAA platformers out there. Also Tomb Raider Legends and Anniversary (especially anniversary imo), maybe Darksiders II. AC 2 had some cool enviromental puzzles too that I really enjoyed. You can't forget about Mirror's Edge either, a pretty cool FPS platformer, a bit light on the puzzle aspect though. That's all the AAA stuff that I can think of.

As for indies, I guess Braid is a good one if you haven't played it (but let's face it, everyone has played Braid), Spelunky is a good one, pretty tough though, MAYBE rogue legacy, Capsized is pretty good, and of course, the one and only Guacamelee! which is one of the biggest surprise I've ever played. That game has some very enjoyable combat and some very satisfying and surprisingly complex jumping puzzles.

Very interesting. I watched video from Total Biscuit on it and it is definitely appealing game. I will give it a try.

I played Prince of Persia Sands of Time but I forgot to mention it as it is really old. Also it was the only PoP game I liked. (besides the very first one)

Also I played Tomb Rider games (except new one, still waiting for good sale on it).

I was considering Dark Siders II but after several videos and reviews I decided to skimp on it as it did not appeal too much to me.

I tried Assassins Creed games but I just simply find them boring after a while of playing.

Never played Mirrors Edge but I know of it but I just forgot on it as it is also old game, I just bough it as it is on 75% sale.

Braid (please dont slap me in the face I havent played it yet). Looks good.

Spelunky, also havent played and also looks good.

Rogue Legacy, same as above :)

Capsized, same as above (again :/)

Guacamelee, looks funny (in good way).

Thanks for making my wish list larger. These games looks great. (I wont be probably play all of those, really depends on which will be on sale. I am looking mainly for tose that will be 75% + off).

I think you should get it if it goes on a very good sale. I didn't like it a lot from videos either but it is full of platforming and puzzles, some simpler, some harder. And the combat is pretty good as well, and it's coming from someone who doesn't like specticle fighters. But really, if the whole apocalypse concept doesn't appeal to you with the angels and land of the dead and so on, then yeah, better to skip it.

AC is kind of boring, yes, but the second one is pretty good imo. Especially the cathedrals and such (templar hideouts I think).

PoP was kind of strange. All games are a bit different. I really liked all of them, even the 2008 one. It was a fresh new concept, I liked the art style and the platforming was full of new elements.

Braid often goes very cheap in the summer sales as far as I can remember and is a very interesting, if somewhat pretentious game. I think you'll really like it.

PoP WW was the shit back then, it was pretty hardcore and included too much aggression and blood.. Really best game ever made by Ubi$$oft back then when they used to care less about money and they used to be innovative!  ;)

World of Goo.

I never liked it, sorry :/

Battleblock Theater! It's by far my favorite platformer to date! Really good coop, with tons of awesome humor! Recommend everybody to check it out!

Trailer was enough to convince me! :) Looks awesome!
