1. Budget & Location

My budget is around $1500, a little more is okay... it will just take longer to save up for. I'm in the US so dollars, $$$$$$$$$$

2. Aim

The pure purpose of this PC is for gaming, maybe a little photo editing in the future.

3. Monitors

I already have one 1080p monitor, I might get a second, so I can multitask easier. Or I might get a 1440p monitor but that will probably far in the future.

4. Peripherals

I have a monitor, like I said, and a Razer Deathadder, but I am thinking about getting a Logitech Performance MX because I want a clean desk but I'm not to sure with acceleration issues... and I can probably convince my mom to buy me a keyboard.

5. Why am I Upgrading?

I want to join the mustard race. It is the mustard race because consoles need to KETCHUP... ps I have a PS4 and a Xbox 360

Thanks!

Kinda went for a green themed build here.

Please do tell if you don't want a window and don't care about how the system looks like. Can cut the price down a lot that way. (100-150$)

The pro's:

  • Good storage, 240GB SSD + 2TB HDD. = lots of games.
  • Insane GPU for 1080p and even for 1440p.
  • The looks! Black wired cables and an all green/black theme.
  • Great CPU cooler that should get the CPU to 4,5Ghz without to much trouble (unless very unlucky!)
  • 16GB of RAM will be MORE then enough for the next comming years for gaming. You can work with 8GB now, but I personally am hitting my max pretty often nowadays.

The cons:

  • Not able to SLI with this PSU.
  • A little more expensive because of the looks
  • No OS

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
