Howdy my fellow techies.

So, I'm in the process of building a new system (9950x + PA120SE + 256GB RAM) and moving my GPUs (2x3090s, Gigabyte Vision OC + Gaming OC) over to this new system, while leaving my current system still working in a headless manner and I will figure later a GPU for it later.

I really dislike the idea of those windowed cases or RGB stuff, I prefer my desktop to just be a black box that I can shove under the desk.

My current case was a cheap one (got it for ~$60) that apparently is local to my country, and the only windowless case that I could find back then. It's really nice since its side panel is a full mesh one, which helps the temps of my stacked GPUs after I shoved some fans on the side, as you can see below.

Spoiler

However, it's not available for sale anymore, and the only windowless options I could find in my country are the ones from Fractal. Specifically the following models, with converted pricing:
- Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact ($210)
- Fractal Design Torrent ($380)
- Fractal Design North XL Mesh ($380)

As you can see, pricing is awful, but it is what it is.

So, any opinions or alternatives on what would be the best idea for such a setup?

Check used thos OLD gaming cases were often just mesh side paneled and are basically free due to their age. Most were also made for 2 way sli or more tk boot so normally 2 3090s fit with relative ease.

You can also diy it for cheap.

Some magnet strips + mesh cutout should be heaps cheap and can adapt any case nicely.

The used market is quite a mess here, so really not worth it, sadly.

I'd rather avoid DIY as well, not worth my time to do so, I'd rather have things go as easily as possible.

Antec Flux SE comes to mind.

Also be quiet has windowless cases.

Sadly none of the windowless versions ever seen to be available here. As I said, the only options I found were the ones I listed in the OP 😞

what are you wanting to gane by getting a new case?

there only so many case with solid sides.

top gpu will be hot in any case ya a case with bottom fans would help the bottom, fan and push the exhaust up and out i guess.

i would say the torrent or north had to say witch is the best for cooling.

The current case will still be in use with the existing setup, and thus I'll need a new case for the new setup.

dont no were you live and i have no idea what available to you but so cant help much.

if you can afford it the torrent or north would be my pick. good case good air flow atlest better then what you have. pricey yes but there well made cases from what people say.

north would probly be better cooling for the top gpu but torrent better cooling for both but im just guessing.

Greatwall 7b would fit the bill if you can find it in your area. (or aliexpress)

That's indeed something of my liking, but sadly no way I can find it available for me 😞

I ended up with the North XL Mesh, thanks for all the inputs!

A friend of mine has an Arca770 and a 1050ti that he uses for older games that are not compatible with arc.
