It's totally normal
Would 100% recommend getting a second stick of ram because single channel is a LOT slower than dual channel. note that while 2 sticks is great, 4 sticks (on ddr5) is highly inadvisable.

Try getting something like Razer Cortex, which closes unnecessary processes when you open a game. There is probably other alternatives if the software sucks, but I personally don't have an issue.
