So my motherboard only has 1 fan header which is for the cpu fan. Stock it came with no intake or exhaust but I would like to change that by adding 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan. I do have 3 sata cables free. Do I buy low rpm fans connect them via a sata adaptor and have them running at full throttle or there is an other way?

Just but a fan hub. You can run about 5 normal pc fans from one header usually.

With a pwm hub I can control the speed of the 1st fan attached and the rest take the same settings. Since the CPU fan is a static pressure ( running at higher rpm ) I would need to add 2 fans of the same kind witch wouldn't be efficient. In case I added airflow fans they would end up running max rpm all the time. If the 1st fan connected was an airflow one, the CPU fan wouldn't be able to perform.

I know that it aint a big deal, especially since the damn pc comes from the manufacturer without any intake-exhaust and its supposed to work just fine. Just trying to see if I am missing something.

Thank you for your answer.

If you do get a hub, I recommend a Molex powered one. I am running two powered hubs in my PC right now. The SATA powered one that came with my Torrent is running my 3x 140s, and a Molex powered one running the 5 120s on my rad. The fans are way happier, and the lights on my board are brighter. My board was a flagship board to boot, just food for thought.

you could also add in dc fans and like a pci controller.

or get fans the same as the cpu fan

or get a better pc...
