hi, i need to know if this mobo is compatible with i7 6700k and can do overclock, kingston hyperx fury black 32gb ddr4 2666mhz bus (2x16 in dual channel), 32gb 3200mhz Ddr4 kingston Fury Beast (2x16 in dual channel), gtx 1070 g1 gaming gigabyte, m.2 ssd, xmp, windows 10 pro 64bits, evga supernova 850 g2 full modular, case gambyte antares full tower without any kind of problem?, i want to use for gaming, is no problem with 2 ddr4 16 gb 3200mhz ram? (32gb in dual channel) and i dont want any problems with this hardware.

Yes it's compatible. However, this is relatively an old platform so I hope you got the parts for near dirt cheap or free ideally as hardware from 2-4 generations ago will run around in circles around Skylake architecture.

Yes everything is, but 3200MHz may not be achievable with the 6700K as the max RAM speed that's supported is DDR4-2133 and anything above it is an overclock. You can possibly do DDR4-2666 and get XMP to work but it's not a guarantee.

mmmm i have msi z170a g45 gaming and drr4 2666 mhz bus and it works fine without issues i think, i tested some games and no problem, what? 3200mhz wont work???? in that asus mobo???

and whats the difference using 2133mhz or 3200mhz overclock?, if i use more than 2133mhz(like 2666 or 3200) the lifespan will be short????

RAM OC is dependent on the CPU's IMC on if it can handle that frequency and timings. It's an overclock and is not guaranteed.

3200MHz will make the system feel snappier and also will perform better in CPU dependent tasks. Ryzen is more critical for faster memory speeds than Intel but you will see at least a 5-10% improvement in performance.

Lifespan should not be shortened that much as you'll upgrade sooner than when you will see any degradation.

Any marginal difference in performance you get from RAM speeds are going to be pretty much irrelevant. Your 9-year-old quad-core CPU and 8-year-old mid-range GPU are not going to be able to hang in modern games.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

so i can use all those hardware in that asus mobo with the 3200mhz ram bus speed with any issues??, and the lifespan will not be shorter??

both cpu and gpu were high end, 1070 was high end when it released, now is low i think, i dont want to play modern games onlie 2017 or before games

In BIOS under RAM OC settings. Should be a list to select different memory frequencies.

Motherboard? No it does not have an effect. RAM is rated by the manufacturer for speeds higher than your kit so you should not see any degradation.

the mobo says 2133mhz, 2400mhz oc, 2666 oc, 2800 oc, 3000 oc, 3200 oc etc, so if i use ddr 4 ram 2666 or 3200 it is 100% safe and the lifespan will not be short right? are ya sure

PD: please read again about my motherbo specs is the asustek z170m plus

You are going to be lucky if it runs at 2666mhz since you are using mismatched ram on a fairly old early ddr4 board. It either will or it won't.

If you run at the proper voltages you aren't gonna kill anything. It'll either work or it won't.

Then if it doesn't you manually time it, probably 2400mhz will work.

It might, it might not.

Who cares?

We are talking about nearly a decade old mismatched parts if everything turns on and works that's a good day lol. Ram speed either will or won't work at XMP.  Ultimately, who really cares? It'll be nice if it works, but if it doesn't? Meh, not the biggest deal.

Yes I'm sure. You shouldn't be afraid of something minute as this. As @toasty99 said, it will either work or not at those speeds.

oh crap, i bought thinking it would run the ram at 3200mhz/2666mhz without issues and without modifing lifespans

OP literally everything you have asked is available in the manual for the motherboard.

You’ll need to OC to squeeze every last ounce out of this. Replacing your 4790k are you?  You’d better have paid next to nothing for this because I can guarantee you modern solutions can be had for cheap.

Where did I mention CPU?  I’m responding to your query about RAM frequency. As others have stated, the IMC in the 6700k supports 2133mhz max.  The quality of the IMC will depend on how high you can go assuming you have decent RAM.

Don’t bother with using the mismatched kits together.  For most of the 6700k out there, 2666 is about as high as they go reliably.
