Can't remember enemy name (WoW)

I'm trying ot remember the name of the little demon and/or alien brain suckers from (I think) BfA? It wasn't from shadowlands I'm almost certain. I tried looking them up but I can't find them. There's an entire part of the story where you fight them. I know that's not a lot to go on, but, it's driving me nuts!

Do you know what area they would be?

You could probably scroll through the Demon and Aberration lists and see if you can find it

No but I remember that Nathanos? Was around in the wharf where I was when I was dispatched to fight them.

Are you talking about the whole Azshara Nazjatar zone? Where you crash at sea fighting the Alliance with Nathanos at the helm holding the Blade of the Black Empire (recently released Xala'tath)? Cephalopod-like creatures that may resemble brain suckers?

Can't really find it online, so someone who still plays WoW might be able to go to the zone and find out.

Well, my wow nerd era ended at Cataclysm pre-Deathwing.

That answer was a result of "battle for azeroth nazjatar enemy octopus"

I didn't use the word octopus because my biology nerd ass remembered them as squids, and cephalopod was just as ineffective.
