I'm kinda disappointed; the game wasn't necessarily what i expected, and i think it lacks content.

Don't get me wrong though, Watch Dogs has it's ups, but unfortunately it doesn't cut the cake.

  • The control system, and one button hacking is kinda a downer; i noticed the cover system was somewhat lame, but could be decent at times.

  • The gun play is good, but it still lacks something.

  • The driving; o my, they could of done alot better on the driving; it feels so unnatural.

  • The repetitive gameplay; when i first saw this game, i was really expecting versatile game play in all categorizes.

  • The AI; i find them somewhat impressive, but it's a mere illusion. The enemies don't know where you are when you glance at them, but they really do; you can see this when you're running away from hostiles, and hiding, but they always know the general area you're in.

  • Super pockets! They made it so you can have unlimited weapons; i would of liked to see a two gun limit, and maybe a weapon storage in the back of the car; similar to LA noire, or True Crime LA.

What do others think so far?

I think i like the game, take in mind ive not played it, from the get go i didnt think it would be extreme indepth, they just dont have the funding whichever way you look at, it cost around half of what gta iv did. An area which they could of improved on which i think is a game seller would be mod support, that my friends is a true gamer changer, mainly for that reason people care about gta b for pc, not because of the core game, yeah that might be decent but when the community gets together on something, that is what gaming is truely about, mod support should be on everything.

Not a repost.

A repost is where an individual sees a post, and then copies it; i did neither.

ok its enjoyable when it works, i find the Cover to be good, although i have notice enemies on a lower platform are able to hit me magically which make no sense.
Driving...yeah terrible
Hacking, i like it! i dont need Deus Ex style hacking, (i still love that game)
Gunplay was ok, its pretty simple and didnt have bullet flying everywhere like in GTA and SR...then again i havent tried all weapons yet.

Deep pockets...yeah no i don´t want another APB och Sleeping dogs. this is not a Simulator game.
even if they go with the LA noire route they need to update the cars, driving and physics aaand lets face it, they wont.

A.I Damn good! unlike GTA and SR where the npc throws themselves into my car when i drive on the street the npc actually moves away!
and enemies are actually smarter... its above average+.

First impression; DAMN The driving sucks! and the controls in general is clunky, everything else so far is as i expected, but then again, i never intended to buy this game, but did as an impulse early today, so no high expectations in the first place.
Gameplay is entertaining when you get the hang of it, but hacking is dummed down i think and aiming a gun is weird, feels like some kind of mouse acceleration even with an optical mouse..

It just ruins immersion; which the game puts a heavy emphasis on; heck, there is even a realistic difficulty.

In all honesty; the big pockets thing ruins games; their would be a lot more strategy if they limited the stuff you could take, but instead they give you everything; which makes the game mindless.

Combat is more important than vehicles

Fair point but if they are limiting the weaponry then they have to improve other stuff, like the cover, the sneaking, body armor is needed, and so on.

btw, you don't have to use all those weapons :P just tell yourself "ok ill just use this handgun and this rifle and done"

Oh that reminds me, one thing i don´t like now that i think about it is that your carrying around all different types of ..lets say handguns and you can cycle between them. THAT is actually bad.

I rather doe it like in SR, got to my stash or a Gun store and replace the weapon.

Very dissapointed I wanted to watch dogs, animal lovers beware. You can't watch dogs at all.
