Am I choosing the correct monitor?

Hello fellow geeks.

Is there anyone, who can confirm, that this monitor is worthy of being a part of my man crave? A little information of what its daliy tasks are going to be, will be described under here:

Programming.

Casual gaming, mainly World of Warcraft and League of Legends.

Graphical work, also one the reasons i picked this monitor for the amazing colors.

 

Do anyone have any experience with this monitor? Or even better suggestions?

its quite an awesome monitor in my opinon and you cant go wrong with dells customer service.

I'd probably go with the very popular ASUS PB278Q mate. But that's just my opinion. ;)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

I'd probably go with the very popular ASUS PB278Q mate. But that's just my opinion. ;)

What does IPS mean? is it better than "not" IPS?

I think you mean PLS. It's basically Samsung's version of IPS. But it usually does offer slightly better performance than IPS. ;)
