The cat in my pfp is mine. I love him and getting him was the best decision I made since moving out of my parents' house. He's always there to greet me when I get home, although he can go outside whenever he wants. He always likes to be around me when I'm home, but he doesn't get too intrusive to the point where it's annoying and I can't move around. He's just the perfect companion for me.
