sorry little bit unexpected xD but I'm trying to ground the two pins to get it to turn on but it's not working

You just need to short it with something metal, like a key or a screwdriver.

He's probably taken the MB outside the case.

i know he doent have to put it back just to reach the cable to the io pins

Okay never mind it works......I just plugged the front power button back in and it works fine
