Does a 300 mm gpu need an anti sag bracket?

I change the ".com" to ".co.uk" in the URL and it brought up the same product.

Thanks. I will try and fit the ones I am ordering, if they dont fit, will order this. I am presuming that the card can remain without a bracket for a few days.

I really would use one. It has the same cut out in the PCB that has been causing graphics card (mostly Gigabyte, but other brands have cracked too) PCBs to crack. Gigabyte has already shown they won't warranty it.聽

It's a $600 GPU. If you want to risk it over $10 or $15 then so be it.聽

You asked what people here would do, and you don't seem to like what they're saying. I have a feeling that at the end of the day you won't use one, and that's okay. If it cracks, don't be surprised if Gigabyte gives you the shaft.

Take a look at the picture, could only install in the middle, is that聽 ok? Also, the usb cable os touching the edge of the card, is that ok?20240417_153920.thumb.jpg.0ccc6ee4ce993083640bdc4f076f0303.jpg

Please check pic, is it ok to put bracket in middle of gpu? Also, usb cable is touching outside of gpu, is that ok?

It's better to have it in the middle IMO, so totally fine. Cable is also good. That insulation will be able to reach 180 degrees F before anything catastrophic happens, The temperature won't get that high ever, so it's totally fine.聽

People can be paranoid, especially when they're new at something. It's better to put their mind at ease with explanations versus just telling them something. It also helps educationally so they can make better decisions themselves.聽

That鈥檚 a perfectly fine place to put it. Just make sure it鈥檚 not touching a fan and you鈥檙e good to go.聽
