Advice needed for budget PC.

Budget (including currency): Roughly £440

Country: London, UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft with shaders + The Witness (maybe) + Overcooked + Celeste

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Will be played at 1080p 60HZ already have mouse and keyboard.

This build is going to be for my sister, and this is what I am thinking so far:

CPU: Ryzen 5 4500

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09VCJN7HZ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?smid=AFXON1SGSPLH4&psc=1

MOBO: Gigabyte A520M K V2 Motherboard

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BXFBN121/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?smid=A2QV0D9Q5FBCED&psc=1

RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0143UM4TC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

SSD: Kingston NV2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 Interna SSD 500GB M.2 2280

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BBWJH1P8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

GPU: SHOWKINGS Radeon RX 5500 XT Graphics Card, 8GB GDDR6 128 Bit Video Card

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CJ4S48H5/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1ARDBQ4ROS2SW&psc=1

PSU: CORSAIR CX550 80 PLUS Bronze Non Modular Low-Noise ATX 550 Watt

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CJRVGGPS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A3RGIJWY14SXRA&psc=1

CASE: iONZ PC Gaming Case Micro ATX Mini Tower - Compact Glass Series | White Tempered Glass (G1 Edition Case Only)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0CQTJB8NY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3NKYWL4DC22AS&psc=1

Prefrences: She would prefer a white case with no RGB if possible. Also, the minecraft with shaders only needs to be pinned at 60FPS if possible, nothing more. I considered buying second hand but I think longevity of the computer matters to her, and I don't really want to risk buying semi functional products.

I have some placeholders here to make up the price

The same case you chose, though i would recommend the mesh one as ITX builds can get a little toasty and the other one doesnt have a lot of airflow, plus you get 3 fans, you should also be able to disable the rgb on them somehow, even if that require just nipping the wires going to any LED's or something more extreme like that

Other than that, slightly better GPU for cheaper, better SSD for cheaper, better motherboard for cheaper, and that allowed me to get double the RAM, can also just go cost saving and get the original RAM and save some money instead of splashing it all on the build

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT NITRO+ [1050mV, 2.8GHz core, 2.6Ghz mem]

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Case: 5000D AIRFLOW

Cooler: Thermalright Frost Commander 140

PSU: Corsair RM850e

thanks a lot!

I was under the impression that the RX 5500 XT was better than an RX 580 8GB but I guess I heard wrong. Would you recomend buying some good case fans (or maybe a better case) instead of 32gigs of ram for better performance, or just to stick with the extra ram?

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/G8QcCJ/kolink-citadel-mesh-rgb-microatx-mini-tower-case-citadel-mesh-rgb-white

This case is quite good for airflow and is still mATX, though im not sure as all components listed arent super hot running parts, id say youd be fine with the case if its liked as the one ive listed is a decent bit more expensive, the RAM is also dependant on if its needed as systems arent going to use extra RAM if its not needed, but it will be more expensive buying 4 sticks at 8gb a piece than a 2x16gb kit and the 2x kit will run marginally better too

I havent really given a conclusive answer as there isnt really one, moreso where you personally would prefer to put the money, the case listed above will provide better thermal performance (id wager you wont be thermally limited regardless though) and comes with fans (which im pretty sure you can turn the rgb off on) or more RAM which may provide better performance if/when it is needed
