front panel IO audio stopped working randomly

im on windows 11, front IO randomly stopped working, but earbuds work perfectly fine in the back motherboard IO, I never unplugged them from the front. After I restarted my PC, it just stopped working, any ideas

check for any windows updates including optional ones 
i highly doubt this is the issue since it happened after restart but make sure front io is properly connected
you can also try running a fresh install of windows 11 
if the issue persists maybe try windows 10
