PC won't wake up from sleep

BuzzFuzz

Windows 11, AMD 7800X3D, N4090.

Today I used for the very first time Sleep button in Windows. You know the sleep option near Turn Off PC, Logout.

And now I cannot wake up the PC. Monitor says No Signal and orange stand by light is always on.

PC doesn't respond on my USB devices aka Mouse, Keyboards.

I tried with USB recovery key to force boot and no luck. I change the DP cable, same shit. Rebooted PC xx times, same shit.

Can anyone help me out what else I can try to do? I know it must be something 🙂

I will do the work later in Window and Bios settings. Just help me get back to stupid Windows 11 power rules.

I have heard of this issue, iirc it has to do with the motherboard on ryzen 7000 series cpus. Perhaps you are due for a bios update? You should be good to hold the power button until it fully turns off and then turn it back on. If this does not work I would flip the switch on your power supply to kill the PC and then you can turn it back on.

From what I am coming up on google having EXPO enabled used to just straight up disable the sleep option of windows. I am curious to know if turning EXPO off would fix the issue (though I wouldn't want to). I am sure through some combination of bios versions, drivers, and settings we can get this to work. Do you have fast boot enabled for example?
