something like this maybe? mobo has 6 sata and  3 m.2 i bielieve

Budget (including currency): HKD 15,000

Country: Hong Kong

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Local AI model running, perhaps server for new business for AI implementation. Not a gaming rig.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Monitor / keyboard / IO / all readily available - this is for a new PC.

So been working on a new PC spec for an AI computer. Core items is of course competent CPU/Graphics and crucially ram capacity long term.

Now there is limited space under the desk, and I am trying to avoid a full tower PC build. I would want it to be aircooled and case filters are crucial as have pets.

the parts list I have so far is:

Intel Core I7 14700F
Noctua NH U9S CPU cooler
Asus prime B760 M-A
Gskill trident Z5 RGB white 64gb kit
WD Black NVME 1TB 2280 SN850X
Asus TUF RTX 3070TI-08G
Antec 80+ gold 850W modular
Noctua Fans NF A12X25

So the issues with the current specs (according to me) and some lack of knowledge / parts availability on case with the build it yourself computer guy who is assisting me with the parts.

1. Mandatory 64 gig RAM - must be upgradable to 128 DDR4 at least. If there is a option for direct to 128 - I will strongly consider.
2. Ideally I want an aircooled case - and I want to avoid a full tower - and I don't know much about motherboards / mini ITX
3. Because of what LTT taught me about Noctua future proofing their fan solutions - I am 100% having this brand as a cooler regardless of case
4. I am a storage hoarder - so more NVME slots plus options for SDD / HDD drives to add is better - though NAS is there if not an option

Case - currently no good ideas. I do not want a full tower. I don't know much about smaller form factor cases. I won't build it myself so it is not necessarily an issue if the case is not friendly to build in, as long as the 3 fan GPU fits.

I think perhaps a small form factor PC is not the right choice - but I want to really avoid a full case. I'm willing to spend money on the correct fans for noise reduction.

Usage: This will be used for as a local AI experimentation desk - ideally making own custom AI instruction sets and use as a server for my future business when the product is right.

Have not built a PC since the early 2000's pentium era, so looking for strong case contenders and what adoptions I have to make to coolers etc without compromise. I am willing to spend money on case if it saves space.

I/O not a huge deal in general.

And with that - there goes my post virginity.

Not sure if mini ITX is the way to go for 128GB. It has only 2 ram slots, and as of now, the only 64GB stick of ram you can get is ECC. I found this listing for one:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/cF88TW/kingston-ksm48r40bd4tmm-64hmr-64-gb-1-x-64-gb-registered-ddr5-4800-cl40-memory-ksm48r40bd4tmm-64hmr

ECC compatibility is often down to the motherboard manufacturer and what they programmed for.

For physical space, what are your limitations? There might be some decent micro ATX cases that aren't too huge

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Well I was hoping this community would come through - you nailed right away on the case. Trying to locate that locally now. Will give an update on it all. Checking the fans as well as the memory suggestion.

Thank you very much will keep you updated.
