Question about overclocking GPU

remo233

I am using GPU tweak to overclock. The auto oc has overclocked the memory from 21000 to 21400 with power target increased from 100% to 110%. In relation to GPU boost, this has not increased. If I look at GPU clock when gaming, the GPU boosts to around 2850 to 2880 Mhz. If I was to overclock the GPU boost, should I choose an amount above what is it already boosting to? The Max GPU clock that is showing to have been reached in the monitoring software if 2925. Should I be trying for 3000 Mhz or is it not worth it?

What GPU ????

Anyway increasing VRAM speed don't make the GPU clock higher, it's 2 different settings like with CPU and RAM

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

Ok to increase clock use MSI Afterburner and set a voltage/clock curve, look at tutorials
