Hp Omen 30L replacing the factory cpu cooler.....

CPU Ryzen 7-5800x, idle temps 50 degrees C, with random spikes to 65-70 degrees C, just running windows and other general tasks. and gaming it throttles at 85 degrees C and spikes at 90-92 and powers down.

it has a HP factory AIO and HP techs assure me that it was engineered to run hot........ya ok i can do better........

also dumb note..... its a AMD CPU yet the MoBo cpu cooler mounting bracket is set to INTEL spacing why does HP make my brain hurt..........?

i am going to replace the AIO with a Noctua U9S Chromax Black addition with two fans set to push and pull.

has anyone else done this mod? any advice? yeah i know throw the HP out a window and build one myself......

I’ll try that one too, right now I’m going trial error.

Why?

I'd just get a verified best option directly really.

Got my Noctua U9S installed with dual fans push and pull, and cpu temps are the same!!! If not worse….. I don’t understand…. Guess I’ll have to try a 120mm air cooler, or just tear this HP down for parts and build my own… this is ridiculous
