Looking for advice on buying a new TV

Hi all!

My girlfriend and I are in the process of buying a house and moving in together. For both of us we're moving away from home, so a lot of exciting things to discover.

As the more tech-savvy of the two of us, I have been given the task of deciding which TV to buy together, and am drawing a blank. There's so many different (or less different) options to choose from, I have a hard time seeing the forest through the trees.

 

Looking for a 55" model, budget between €800 and €1000, other than that I'm pretty much just looking for the best bang for the buck.

*edit* we live in Belgium

Any tips would be most welcome!

LG B3 = cheaper

LG C3 = Has a better panel. More expensive, 100 more dollars where i live

What’s it primarily used for? I.e. movies, gaming, tv, sports

Is it in a light controlled (dark) space, or a pretty bright space?

What devices do you plan on connecting it to?
