Nvidia gives me 2 monitors in Windows 11 after i choose "Nvidia GPU Only" to activate GSYNC

gigabyter

I bought a new laptop today and installed Windows 11.

It has an RTX 4060.

I have no external monitor connected, but for some reason, when i go to the tab "Manage display mode" in the Nvidia control panel and choose "Nvidia GPU only" which is the only way i can activate GSYNC and press Apply, then i suddenly have 2 monitors on my screen settings. Even more annoying, monitor 2 is the primary one and i can't change number 1 to the primary. So i can't change the scale or anything.

I've tried both the current driver and older drivers from Nvidias website, but it makes no difference.

Why is this happening and how do i fix it?
