Does the cpu bottleneck the GPU this is my new build and some people say the cpu is still too weak for the gpu

You'll still find shitty broken games that people can use as examples...

It's not that serious.

Solid CPU for 60-120hz Gaming, Solid GPU for High/Ultra details

Pick your balance to your preferences... FPS or Visuals.
But both are strong in their respective fields.

I wouldn't worry whatsoever, you'll be choosing GPU bound settings 99% of the time unless your a CODBro with Minimum details.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Those people are wrong.

All the professional reviews shows the 7800X3D is more than capable of handling GPUs like the RTX 3090 Ti.

It is one of the top-5 CPUs right now.

That CPU is enough for any GPU, it's one of the best on the market at the moment. It will be a great combo. What games do you play?
