Need To find Tech related Internship

Not quite sure if this belongs here exactly but whatever... 

 

Alright for my school I have to find 4 different "internships" that relate to what career you are interested in.

So the catch is it is not exactly a internship more like an work experience with a mentor so it makes it very difficult for me to find and opportunity near where I live.

So I thought I might look for some help here. 

 

 

My Details:

 

- I live in orange county, Southern California

- I am looking for a mentor who is involved with (Preferably) software development or computer programming

- I am 17 and dedicated to my studies 

 

Some of the Info I need:

 

-Organization/Business name

- Brief description of business/organization

-Name of possible mentor

-Brief description of what mentor does 

-Contact info

 

I guess that is about it, Thanks for the tips and help it is well appreciated.

Start by posting an ad on craigslist and answering other people's ads. So Cal is infested with techie people
