I needed to post this on here. France paid $20 Billion for trains too wide for many of its train stations. This may not be the techiest of news, but it gave me a laugh. Now, they are shaving off parts of their stations to make them fit. SOrry if this isn't the most techy news.

Can't find it but I read it before and it talked something of SNCF (railroad company In France) and them screwing up.

I am so sorry about that. The search function on here is so bad. I looked up trains, france, and other stuff. Did you add tags like those to your post? If you do, they're a bit easier to find :D

In Stuttgart they are building tunnels for pre-existing trains that will be too narrow for said trains.

That title is misleading. People misconstrued it into thinking France is totally screwed with 20 billion dollar trains however only a few stations aren't able to fit it and even then France is widening them.

They need to narrow the stations built pre 1950 or something like that. It will cost about 50 million €, which is nothing compared to the 20 billion € the trains cost. A stupid problem, but not a big nor expensive problem.
