Are trust me bro cables still on the roadmap?

Two years ago LTT show cased the Total Phase cable tester and talked about releasing their own line of verified/tested HDMI, DP, etc. cables.

Two years later there is still none for sale on LTTstore. Has this project being scraped?

It's probably a back burner project to begin with, but I also have to imagine that designing and sourcing cables isn't a super easy thing to begin with, much like the screwdriver.

Considering the little margin and how people tend to purchase cables purely based on price and not quality (we all say we put quality above else but then we just end up buying the cheapest on Amazon, be honest), I wouldn't be putting all my resources in such a project either.

Unless it was something like an auxiliary cable I would agree.

Saw very early note about custom cables in Crossflow video from couple of weeks ago. It said "at some point". Which in LTTStore-time is probably year or few.

Yes. Linus said on WAN Show, "We are working on it, but don't expect it in the near future."

Assuming upto 5m length; USB-C (2m), HDMI and DisplayPort and 20cm steps this would be 60 SKUs they would need to source and store. Hope this doesn't skyrocket their cost.
