External Power Button for Elitedesk Mini

Hi All,

Looking at setting up an external power button for a HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini and wondering the best way to do this as the power button is hardwired on this device.

Any advise appreciated.

Can you solder? You could tap wires onto the pins on the actual power button and run them to your secondary power button.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

I can solder but I'm not particularly skilled at it, this was my first idea but was looking to see if there were any other options rather than that.

Soldering this would be remarkably simple.

You would actually not even have to solder if you twist the wires together well enough.
