Logitech G305 battery drain issue

Me and my brother both own a G305. But for some reason, his battery drains a lot faster than mine. I had ordered a pair of AAA batteries and AAA to AA adapters for us both. However, my battery still works, his doesn't. We got the batteries at 9th Jan 2024. I plug his battery in my mouse and it registered as low on GHub. 

 

I theorize it might be because he plays on 1600DPI (I play on 800DPI) and that he uses his mouse way more than me (for reference, I usually use my mouse for 4 hours a day, 1hr is for gaming. My bro does for at least 6hrs/day, 5hrs are gaming). So now I have 2 questions:

 

• Is this amount of drain normal for this use case?
• If not, how do I fix it?

I was making sure this was normal. I might pick up a pair of aa lithium rechargables then.
