So I have 1,200$ for upgrades. I do some pretty heavy 3D work, video editing and gaming. My current specs are

Does that really need upgrading? That machine's a beast.

Pocket the money and save it. I don't think you need to upgrade unless you want the haswell refresh or a full watercooling loop.

If you are only gaming keep the money. Upgrade it when there is actually anything better.

Well are you at the point where your PC is sluggish and that your programs just dont out right operate at there full potential if not then either pocket the money and join the gigahertzs war.

you could maybe consider moving to Ivy-E or wait a bit more and upgrade to Haswell-E
