Go pro 12 vs DJI Osmo Action 4?

I’ve already watched and read reviews and it seems it’s pretty close. With the current offer in my area: one, go pro is around $400 including tax for it’s standard package vs the DJI’s adventure package that comes with 3 battery and battery case at the same price, would it be safe to say the DJI is slightly better deal right now?

I've never been happy with Gopro software and swore them off years ago.  As I understand it they have improved, however my Action 4 has been flawless so far.  One feature I love is being able to trim video before saving to my device which has made quickly splicing video from a day together extremely fast!  The A4 hasn't crashed or froze at all and just works like it should.  Battery life even on a cold day on the ski slopes has been great so far as well.  One battery lasts almost an entire session while in pre-record mode.  (When I hit record is saves the previous 30 seconds, great for capturing moments you didn't see coming without recording 100% of the time!)

Yeah, I actually ending up getting the action 4 the same day. they thrown in water proof case in the bundle for the same time. Personally, Price wise, I like that for the same price of the go pro standard package, I got the 3 battery package with the free water proof case. Spec wise, I like that it has a bigger censor which makes everything brighter naturally. Features wise, I actually found the navigation easy to learn.

I have found that I tend to bring it more places knowing I wont have to fiddle with my A4 just to get it to record.  The larger sensor is a good bonus, but the fact is most users share their footage on social media viewed on cell phones...so the quality in the day time has been good enough since 2017.  The A4 shines at night though with the larger sensor.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was going to go for the GoPro,

but after reading your post and doing some more research I went for the Action4.

Got the Adventure Combo with a three battery charger with three batteries.

Stabilization is great, looks solid even mounted on the bike.
