Look at the BFGD marketing points, TVs seem to have all of these now. I have a LG c2 as my main display as its about as good as you can get for games. Very low latency, handles motion very well, very good contrast, decent brightness. And there are other TV models out there too.

.

the 42inch C2 is close enough to a monitor, there's a gap between 32 to 42inch but that's about it.

BFGDs were dead on arrival. All of the dispalys using this acronym were unpractical and overpriced. Nowadays there are plenty of TVs and monitors that do the same thing but better and cheaper. LG's "smaller" OLED TVs like the 42" and 48" options are very popular choices for big gaming displays, for good reason.

I've been using the 42" version of the LG C2 myself for over a year now and it's the best monitor I've ever had, even though it technically isn't even a monitor.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
