hi, i have a 24/7 miner pc, but i dont wanna put it in a case (yet) so i need a better place than this:

We don't know anything about where you live. I'm not sure what you're really asking us. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

How much are you paying for electricity? I know that I am not getting the best deal ever in terms of power (about .45CAD, .33USD, .30€) but it would not be worth it for me to mine. Also, just get any case? Protecting your rig is a good idea.

Cardboard would work for testing, put some standoffs on there and place it on a piece of wood or metal for a more permanent solution?

Pretty much anything that doesn't conduct electricity, and doesn't melt or burn with just like 20-30c temperature.

As long as it is capable of withstanding the temps... I would still recommend just putting standoffs under your board to have a bit of an air gap, a bubble of heat is not great to have (even if your CPU is likely not pinned at 100%?)

Considering the cooler, i doubt that system's board make that much heat anyway.
