Budget (including currency): $1200-1500

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly for hades, valorant, Elden ring, persona 5, risk of rain, indie games, and planning to play BG3 and the new persona coming out. WIll also use it for budgeting excel.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have most of the parts from my old build, just wanted to make sure that I will be getting the best for the budget that I have and if there is anything change. Please double check for me! I have everything here. Planning to buy the speakers as well so I put it there.

You can definitely can get a cheaper power supply. 1000 watts is overkill unless you plan on upgrading to a really powerful, power hungry system.

Current Pc Parts:

-CPU: Intel i7-9700k

-GPU: EVGA RTX 2070 black edition

-CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken x62

-Mobo: Asus z390-E gaming

-Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 32g @3000MHz

-Storage: Samsung 850evo 256Gb

-Storage: Toshiba 1Tb 7200rpm

-Case: NZXT H500

-Extra: NZXT Hue 2

I think you could get away with a 750. My pc which has an rtx 2070 and i7-9700k uses a 750 watt power supply. I would def look into a bit more. You can use an online calculator to see how much power your system uses. Here’s a link to a Newegg calculator. https://www.newegg.com/tools/power-supply-calculator/

You could probably even do a 650 watt but a 750 watt will give you room to upgrade in the future. I would get more opinions than just mine tho haha.

Yes I checked the calculator that you said. I will be going with a 750 watt. Is the rest of the build okay or do I have to change something else?

I recommend IPS over VA, but cheap VAs < cheap IPS, but when you spend more on a monitor (like you), the type of panel depends on your lighting and personal preferences. I recommend VAs for darker rooms and IPS for well-lit rooms.

I was thinking of getting this monitor as a main monitor AOC Q27G3XMN which is a mini led has great review on rtings but then my parents gave me alienware monitor can't really say that it's too expensive and don't want can I. Thank you for the thought tho!

I see, your Alienware is OLED right? That's even better than IPS,mostly in dark enviroments

You want low profile RAM for a dual tower cpu cooler so that you don't impede said cooler.

I believe it is an IPS, I am not really sure I didn't really check the reviews on this monitor.

Alienware is good anyway : ) If your Samsung screen still feels good, stick with it. For when it breaks down I recommend something like this!

It does has some dead pixel on it so I am not sure what to do with that. I will be saving up for another monitor after a few months might look for the one that you recommended (Except that one might be too expensive for me haha) or just might stick with one monitor. Thank you!
