how do rgb devices that are controllable with signalrgb know what colors to be

i want to get some rgb for my new pc and i was wondering how the rgb knows what color to be (the one outside of my pc)

i know that the ones inside the pc will be controlled by a rgb controller, but what about the ones on my desk. like the keyboard. will the keyboard get the information over that cable that is plugged in my pc?

I know that RGB doesn't make my PC 10 times faster...but at least 2 times

anything that is supported by your rgb app (for example rgbfusion) will light up the color you want, but you must be 100% that it is supported
