Laptop Display to monitor help

I have a Laptop Display for a Dell G-15 (Model 5515), and I want to turn it into a usable monitor while running it at 120hz, but I have no idea what items to get. I have seen some videos about this project and have tried to find an embedded DisplayPort controller that would be compatible. If even possible, I would prefer for the integrated webcam to be reusable. Thank you in advance!

There isn't a way to do this that 100% works. You'd be far better off just buying a monitor.

How do I know if it doesn't exist or if I haven't found the one that is compatible?
