After upgrading, will I need to purchase a new Windows license? No response from Microsoft.

My current system has the following equipment.

   Asus ROG Strix B550-F motherboard

   AMD Ryzen 7 3800X cpu

Corsair Vengeance 32 gig ram (4x8)

New Years upgrade will include:

Asus ROG Strix B650E-E Gaming Wifi motherboard

   AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D cpu

Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 6000MHz ram 32 gig ram (2x16)

I would like to know if after replacing and upgrading the system, will I need to purchase a new license for Windows 11?  I have left several messages on the Microsoft Help desk but have never gotten an answer.  If anyone else has tried to cross this bridge and gotten a response from Microsoft it would really help.

OEM is tied to your PC. When you go and build a new PC then you will need to get a new license. Upgrading is consider as getting a new PC, but there are times where Windows will still let you reactive with your current license.

Retail is tied to You. You can transfer to any many new computers you have, just as long as this license is only used on 1 PC.
