Anyone with FSP Champ 2K 2000VA UPS ? HELP

Hi,

Im looking for info.

This is double conversion UPS and based on review it has x2 80mm always on fans, its not good for me, it will be in the bedroom.

BUT during the review, i seen a photo of UPS software that shows you can disable double  conversion and enable Bypass mode, like with standard UPS.

What i want to know if enabling this mode will turn off the fans?

While I do not know for this exact UPS, for models I know about, bypass mode bypasses the UPS for maintenance. This means you are bypassing the UPS protection. If you are running in this mode all the time you might as well not use the UPS.
