Is there any way to stop electromagnetic interference with PC speakers

Galaxy2007

I have a set of Altec Lansing ACS-45 speakers that start making buzzing/static noises sometimes. I think it has to do with electromagnetic interference since putting my phone near them will cause a lot of buzzing. However it also happens randomly throughout the day and it's annoying to have to listen to. The cables aren't detachable but is there anything I can wrap them in to stop the interference?

First of all, awesome speakers.
Wrapping the cables near where you set your phone in aluminum foil can help cut down on interference, as can opening up the speaker cabinets and lining the insides with aluminum foil... or big plates of lead.

Your easiest and cheapest solution is to simply not put your phone close to the speakers.

I don't set my phone near the speaker wire, but I noticed when I had my phone near it to take a picture of my PC build the buzzing got a lot louder

The subwoofer connects to a wall outlet through an attached cable, one speaker connects to the subwoofer through what appears to be a proprietary connector, and the other speaker connects through a permanently attached cable with an aux connector at the end, this cable is very thin so I'm guessing that has something to do with it

Connect to ground (cheap)

faraday cage… better but good luck with wireless

anything else might be a bit more extreme.
