How to rank up?

How do you rank up through the Newbie, Rookie, Apprentice, etc. ranks?

 

I've heard it was the amount of posts you do, but is there anywhere that can tell you how much of something you need and/or how far away you are from it?

By posting. Don't spam. Ranks serve no purpose. At all.

The only thing that's useful is having 100 posts and accessing the classified forum. Everything above that is pointless.

 

Edit : Actually, I think they removed the ranks? We're all members now ? Just me? I'm dumb. nvm.

No you still have the ranks with badges, not sure if that's the original thing you're on about.

Aaah, those. Right. I was looking at the totally wrong place. Right right. 😅

So yeah, they are useless. Just post if you want to raise it. After a while you'll be a Mentor for the rest of your life because I'm convinced it cannot go higher.

I don't care about it to be honest - but I'm fairly certain it goes to grand master. If last time you hear it was only mentor then maybe they add a few when someones been at the top for a while or something.

Why add more than GM? The amount you need to "rank up" isn't linear.

Well I'm looking at profiles of people who have 20k posts and a ton of reputation points. They are still mentors.

According to a mod... There's no official info on it. But it's a combination of reactions, posts count and being active.

 

Which would explain why someone can have 2000 posts and still be rank 9 while someone with 1800 posts can be rank 10.

Make your browser smaller. It has to be small enough to get the hamburger menu/mobile layout.

it seems likes its a reaction to a post like a hart you get, how many post your gets marked as a solution (witch is rare...) and how many reactions you do to others i guess 🤷‍♂️

 

with 7.4k post joined 2013 and 111 solutions mine says im still a junior member... 🤔

grand master is 50k posts so... good luck with that 😛

 

as of today there are only two members with that title and the third in line is still a good 8k off

You've got your title mixed up with the rank. The "Junior member" title is something you can change.
