Use Samsung S9+ as fixed camera for night

I can get a (very) used Samsung Galaxy S9+ for about 100€. It has a cracked screen and the battery holds almost no charge, but for my use case that's fine.

I plan on using it with a tripod, connected to an outlet or powerbank, to record live shows in low-light conditions (with permission from the artists, no worries there).

I know most action cameras and smartphone cameras (at least for this price) struggle with low-light conditions and from what I see, the S9+ is quite good at it.

It will not be connected to the internet, so no concern about out-of-date android.

Am I making a good choice or for this price I can get something better?
