7950X3D iGPU can't play 4k videos?

i disabled the HW accel in firefox and now its working normally. seems the cpu is picking up the slack now

Hi

 

Im using firefox that is set to use the iGpu and when i try to play a 4K video on youtube the gpus Video Codec 0 spikes upp to 100% and the video is super laggy. Is the iGpu not able to do 4k?

Yes, its that weak, there is no point in keeping it enabled.

i see. well i do need it since im all full on outputs on my 4090 sadly so im using 1 monitor on it. but i guess i have to change it back to the main gpu for firefox.

It moved on to CPU.
