I'm forced to find the HP driver since AMD doesn't want me using theirs. Unless theres some gibberish code changing I can do this isn't a choice.

I'm assuming you have tried the 3500u Windows 10 driver here?

Do things other than driver installers work? Because the installer itself not running would rather point to a generally broken Windows install.

I never actually tried that... Do you know where the files extract to so I can install the display driver manually?

Just making sure you read through this thread. OP is trying to install drivers on a Windows 7 when the platform doesn't support anything less than Windows 10.

How's your own poisoned... OS 🙂

Not English-speaking person, sorry, I'll make mistakes. If you're kind, maybe you'll be able to understand.

If you're really kind, you'll nicely point that out so I will learn more about write in good English.  🙂

And here's your toast (system image)...

There exists no driver that supports windows 7 for that chip. You will never be able to install a gpu driver.

You simply cannot install 10 drivers on windows 7. It is not compatible it's using newer frameworks and such that literally do not exist in or for windows 7 and will never exist for it.

As stated into the Windows 7 on this machine topic... It's not the correct OS for the hardware. You overcome some of the issues with drivers slipstreamed into Windows 7 Iso, but now some other hardware do not have the driver for the OS you think is correct.

You're driven, so maybe you'll also find some manually backported drivers from Windows 10 to Windows 7. I did things the other way around (Vista 32 drivers for Windows 7, Creative Webcam) but anyway... any update could crack it.

Using unsupported (and not updated) OS is a periouls path. You're willing to do that, I'll enjoy your journey 🙂
