At 1440p the gpu is going to be the main thing holding you back so I would upgrade the gpu if I were to upgrade anything. Other than that the cpu is solid and you wouldn't make much gains by upgrading that so definitely not worth the money to upgrade.

As for what gpu to upgrade to I would want to upgrade to at least a rx 6800 xt or something of that range to be enough of an upgrade over your current gpu. Rx 6800 xt can be had for a fairly reasonable price so I would look into that if you are OK with going AMD because unfortunately nvidia is really skimping on ram for their midrange gpus.

Hey man

I agree with @Brooksie359 and would extend my search to 6750 xt which is solid depending on your budget. not much to add if you sell your actual 3060 12g. performances on par with a 3070 depending on the games .
