Posted August 14, 2023 hi, the price difference between the MX500 and BX500 is about 20% in my country.................now if i were to just use it to store photos, videos and music...........which model would be more reliable in data retention ? i reckon the MX500 would have better quality NAND flash memory ?...............perhaps even other better quality parts as well ? I believe the mx500 would be more worth it over time. The BX 500 uses qlc nand and the mx500 uses tlc nand which just means, in very basic terms, that the mx500 essentially will last longer for your uses.
