He is not editing or anything so why would he need a super fast rig like brandon or Dezels.

He must be the first boss not to demand the best computer just because he is the boss.

 

What self-respecting boss would be without dual xeons and quad sli Titan Zs? Reading emails requires the very best hardware money can buy! ;)

i find it OK for some one doing what he does, plus, it's Linus, it's not like he wont build him self a better Rig if he felt Like he needed one !

That's NOT Linus's rig.  It's an upgrade to Dezel's (Edzel's) and it was what he wanted so probably about the best FOR HIM, good build/bad build is all in the eye of the user/use case .

like @FloRolf said linus dosent use his rig for editing, dezil dose the video editing so in this situation its relevant

The entire thread is about Linus's rig then you make a statement that it is not very good and a link.  Any normal person would think you were linking to Linus's "build".  It is not it is the rig of someone who 'works for him'.
